This exhibit is made from photos provided by these eight photographers: Martin Stupich, George Jerkovich, Peter Brown, Rick Dingus, Steve Fitch, Miguel Gandert, Tony Gleaton, and Andrew John Liccardo - and
features 45 color and black-and-white photographs that reveal the land, with much of it's beauty.
Each photographer works on three seperate photography projects that document the cultural landscape of the central western United States. Each photographer has an area they are known for producing photos from.
A few of these areas include: southern Wyoming's wild Red Desert - the flat, semi-arid, great plains of Kansas to the rolling hills of the Dakota Sandstone region - the Llano Estacado of northwest Texas and eastern Mexico.
This exhibit is believed to be an enriching, cultural experience that will remind you of the earth's beauty.
Red Desert, Green Prairie, Blue Sky is a program of Exhibits USA, a national division of Mid-America Arts Alliance with the Missouri Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
